LHF This Week: Apr. 5 - Apr.12

Hello, Church Family!

What a powerful and meaningful week we’ve had together as we celebrated Good Friday and Easter Sunday. This is the heart of our faith—the death and resurrection of Jesus—and it was such a joy to gather and reflect on the hope we have because of Him.

In this week’s edition, you’ll find a recap of our Easter weekend, this Sunday’s message, upcoming events, Bible reading, and our prayer list.

Easter Weekend Recap

This past weekend was a beautiful time of worship and reflection as we gathered for both Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

On Good Friday, we took time to remember the sacrifice of Jesus—the weight of the cross and the depth of His love for us. It was a reverent and meaningful service as we reflected on what Christ endured on our behalf.

Then on Easter Sunday, we came together in celebration of the resurrection! The joy in the room was evident as we worshiped our risen Savior and were reminded that death has been defeated and we have new life in Him.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved celebrating with you!

Sunday Worship Recap

This Sunday’s sermon was titled:“RESURRECTION: The Consummation of the Gospel” from 1 Corinthians 15

We were reminded that the resurrection is not just a moment in history—it is the fulfillment of the gospel story. Because Jesus rose from the dead, everything changes. Our faith is not in vain, our hope is secure, and we have the promise of eternal life.

The resurrection is the foundation of our faith and the reason we can live with confidence, joy, and purpose.

Looking Ahead

Easter may be over, but the truth of the resurrection continues to shape how we live every single day. Because Jesus is alive, we have hope, purpose, and new life in Him.

Let’s continue to walk in that truth this week and look for opportunities to share that hope with others.

We’re so thankful for our church family and can’t wait to gather again soon!
