Weekend Wrap-Up

What a great weekend at Living Hope! Our Youth had an awesome time at their hiking event on Saturday — there's nothing quite like exploring God's creation together. Sunday's worship service was filled with a wonderful spirit as Pastor Chris continued our series on Spiritual Warfare, looking at how the enemy tries to attack us as believers. The greatest promise from the sermon? Despite the schemes of the Evil One, our Lord has already overcome — and we are victorious in Christ! If you missed it, be sure to catch up online.


This Week's Gatherings & Events

  • Tuesday Evening, 6:30 PM — Women's Bible Study at the church (Foyer Classroom). All ladies are welcome!

  • Friday Morning, 7:00 AM — Men's Bible Study at Panera in Brannon Crossing. Currently studying Acts.


25th Anniversary Celebration — October 4th

Mark your calendars and make plans to be with us throughout the day as we celebrate God's goodness and faithfulness to Living Hope Fellowship!

  • 9:15 AM — Light breakfast and open house featuring pictures and memories from the past 25 years.

  • 10:15 AM — Celebration Worship Service, offering thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness.

  • 5:30 PM — Farm Party at Kerry and Debbie Major's home in Nicholasville. Great food, fellowship, and fun!

One request: If you can put together a presentation board with photos from your family's involvement with LHF over the years, it will help set the stage for a fantastic day. Let's make this a celebration to remember!


Prayer List

  • Chris Shepherd — It was great having Chris back at church on Sunday. Keep him in prayer as he continues to recover and begins further treatments very soon.

  • Jillian Gill's Parents — They're moving to Central Kentucky. Pray for them during this transition.

  • Don & Tandy Flynn — They've sold their home! Pray for them as they prepare for their move and a season of transition while their new home is being built.

  • Brenda Fowler — Continue to lift Brenda up as she faces ongoing health needs.


Church family, as you head into this week, remember the truth from Sunday's message: no matter what the enemy throws your way, the victory is already won in Christ. Walk in that confidence. Love your neighbors well, show up for one another, and let the hope we carry shine bright wherever you go. Have a wonderful week... we'll see you Sunday!
