Hello Living Hope Family,
We hope you had a blessed week! Here's a look back at Sunday and what's happening in our community this week.
SUNDAY IN REVIEW
It was good to gather together again this past Sunday following our Easter celebrations. Our Worship Team led us powerfully, preparing our hearts to receive God's Word through song and praise.
Pastor Chris then took us through Luke 10, focusing on Jesus' compelling story of the Good Samaritan. The message was a strong reminder that true believers don't just talk about loving others; they actively live out that command. Pastor Chris challenged us to consider that this love isn't meant only for those who are kind to us, but must extend even to strangers and those we might consider enemies. He also highlighted how our surrounding culture often struggles to grasp the kind of deep, active compassion that Christ modeled and calls us to.

Join us as we cover our city, its leaders, churches, and homes in prayer around the clock.

Friday (May 2): Men's Bible Study
7:00 AM at Panera Bread in Brannon Crossing.
We're continuing our journey through the book of Romans. Come for coffee, scripture, and great conversation to start your day.

Please join us in lifting these individuals and situations before the Lord:
Archie Falin: Praying he will be able to come home from the hospital this week.
Michael Whisman: As he begins a new chemo treatment, pray for its effectiveness and for minimal side effects.
Carolyn Ashcraft: Pray for comfort and peace following the loss of her brother, and for strength regarding her personal health concerns.
Regina Leatherman: Pray for healing for her broken foot and wisdom regarding a possible upcoming surgery.
Roehl Tanedo: For continued grace, wisdom, and provision for our missionary partner serving in the Philippines.
Pastor Derek: As he prepares to preach throughout the month of May, pray for him in his studies and sermon preparation.
