As we step into 2026, Living Hope Fellowship opens its doors to a fresh year filled with promise, growth, and renewed faith. This new chapter invites us all to draw closer to Christ and deepen our connections with one another. The start of a year is a perfect time to embrace new opportunities for ministry, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Together, we can build on the foundation of hope and love that defines our community, making 2026 a year of meaningful transformation and service.
Worship Wrapup: A Powerful Start to the Year
Sunday’s worship service set a hopeful tone for the year ahead. Pastor Chris delivered a compelling message from Colossians 3, reminding us that our new nature in Christ is not just about the promise of Heaven but about living as people who have already been raised from spiritual death to life. This message challenges us to embody the transformation Christ brings in every aspect of our daily lives.
The worship team, led by Joel Rieber, provided inspiring music that prepared our hearts to receive this message. Their dedication to leading us in worship helps create a space where we can experience God’s presence deeply. If you missed the service or want to revisit the message, it is available on our website and Facebook page.
Ladies Bible Study Resumes Tuesday
After a well-deserved break during the holiday season, the Ladies Bible Study will resume this Tuesday at 6:30 pm. This year, Rita Bugg will guide the group through the epistles of John, offering rich insights into love, truth, and fellowship.
If you are looking for a way to grow in your faith and connect with other women in the church, this study is a great opportunity. Bring your Bible and an open heart, and join us at the church for an evening of learning and encouragement.
Upcoming Events This Week
Mentorship Ministries to Restart in February
Our mentorship programs, Brothers to Men (B2M) and Girls to Women (G2W), took a break in January after a busy December. These ministries will return on the first Wednesday of February, ready to support and guide our younger members through faith and life challenges.
Keep an eye out for upcoming announcements with details on meeting times and locations. These programs are vital for building strong, faith-filled relationships across generations in our church family.
Prayers for the Hinkle Family
This week, we ask the Living Hope Fellowship community to hold Amber Hinkle and her family in prayer. They are mourning the loss of Allen Hinkle, with visitations scheduled in Lexington and Belfry, and a funeral service in Belfry on Wednesday.
Please see the obituary for full details. Let us come together in support and comfort during this difficult time, showing the love of Christ through our prayers and presence.
Prayer Request for Pastors’ Mission Trip
Pastors Chris and Derek will be traveling to the Philippines starting Thursday. They will preach, teach, and engage in hands-on ministry during their trip. This mission work is a vital part of Living Hope Fellowship’s outreach, spreading the gospel and serving communities in need.
Please pray for their safety, strength, and the impact of their ministry. Your prayers help sustain and encourage them as they represent our church abroad.

Along with the Hinkle Family and our pastors, please remember others on our list...

Thanks to Our Un-Decorating Team
Special thanks to all who pitched in after the worship service to help take down and store the Christmas decorations at the church. It was a beautiful season, and we look forward to seeing all the sparkling lights and trees when Christmas rolls around again in December!
As we begin 2026, Living Hope Fellowship stands ready to embrace the new beginnings and opportunities God has prepared for us. Whether through worship, study, mentorship, or mission, each of us has a role to play in this journey of faith. Let’s move forward together with hope, love, and a commitment to live out the new life we have in Christ.
