Stepping Into August!


Can you believe we are already saying goodbye to July and stepping into August? Summer seems to be flying by, and before long, our attention will be shifting toward Back to School prep. But until then, we are soaking up every last bit of summer together! Sunday Recap: Youth-Led Worship Service


This past Sunday’s service was truly something special as our students led us in our annual Youth-Led Worship Service! They shared all about their powerful week at Laurel Lake Baptist Camp in Corbin. With 31 campers and counselors attending, this was the largest group LHF has ever sent to camp!


Our youth did an outstanding job leading our worship music, performing interpretive skits, and sharing a photo recap that gave us a window into their week. The highlight of the morning was hearing personal testimonies of how God moved—students shared how they grew closer to Christ, and it was incredible to hear how our younger Counselors in Training (CITs) stepped up to disciple others, even getting to lead fellow campers to Christ!


A huge thank you to Jamal & Brittany Rayan for their tireless dedication in leading our youth ministry and organizing this life-changing trip every year.

Our New Livestream Home!


Speaking of YouTube, this past Sunday marked our official move to broadcast our Sunday morning livestream from YouTube instead of Facebook.


This move allows us to reach more people as viewing habits shift, gives us a noticeable jump in video and audio quality, and lets us embed the stream directly onto our website. Whenever you are away or unable to join us in person, tuning in is easier than ever:

    • Start your Friday with breakfast, fellowship, and God's Word.


  • Saturday, August 1 (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM) – Party With the Pastors!

    • For: Kids in K5 through 5th Grade

    • Location: Pastor Chris' house

    • Details: It’s going to be an awesome day for our kids! Please make sure to register your child online at lhfellowship.com.

    • What to bring: Each child needs to bring a plain, light-colored t-shirt for a fun craft project!


Sunday, August 2, 2026: The Diggles Family Concert

  • LHF is offering its location as a host site for the Diggles Family's "Goodness of God" Tour. For over 20 years, this full-time family music ministry has been encouraging churches across the country through uplifting Christian music, rich vocal harmonies, and a variety of acoustic instruments—including violin, guitar, mandolin, and penny whistle. Their mission is simple: to exalt Jesus Christ and encourage believers of all ages through worship and God's Word.

  • Join us for a worshipful evening. Admission is free. A donation offering will be received.



Ladies Had a "Blooming" Great Time!


Our Women's Ministry gathered this past Monday evening at Daycrest Flower Farm in Lancaster for fresh flower picking and sweet fellowship under the evening sky. A big thank you to Tandy Flynn for organizing such a wonderful night!

Save the Date: Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 30th! The Men of LHF will be hosting a special banquet in honor of our ladies. You definitely won't want to miss this evening of fine dining and special "entertainment"!

We are currently in the process of transitioning to a brand-new Church Management Software system that will help streamline our communication, events, and administrative needs.


You can help us make this transition as smooth as possible by helping us update our records! We want to make sure we have your most current contact information—including phone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, family photos, birthdays, and anniversaries. Keep an eye out next week for a direct link where you can easily review and update your family's profile!

  • Koos Basson (S. Africa Missionary): Praying for relief, healing, and strength regarding ongoing hip issues.

  • Pritti Bansod: Pray for safety, traveling mercies, and fruitful ministry as she prepares to return to India soon.
