LHF This Week: July 20-27, 2025 Edition

ree

Welcome!

This week's issue of LHF This Week is packed with exciting updates! We'll be reporting on the powerful youth camp testimony service from this past Sunday, sharing details about the upcoming Women's event at DayCrest Flower Farm, announcing a new outreach team forming at LHF, and more!

Youth Took Over Worship Service Sunday

Our youth truly shined this past Sunday as they led us in worship and shared heartfelt testimonies about their recent week at camp. This year, 24 campers and counselors proudly represented LHF at Laurel Lake Baptist Camp in Corbin. Everyone had an incredible time, strengthening their bonds with one another and deepening their relationship with Christ.

Pastor Derek concluded the service with a powerful challenge from Psalm 86, encouraging us to continue to stoke the flames of our relationship with Christ. He highlighted four key ways: Follow God Daily, Invite His Strength, Reflect on His Goodness, and Expect to be used to glorify Him.

Congratulations Isaac Mitchell!

We were so blessed to celebrate as a church family as Isaac Mitchell was baptized during the worship service on Sunday! Congratulations to Isaac on this significant step in his faith journey. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues to grow in his relationship with Christ.

Women's DayCrest Flower Farm Event Won't "Rain, Rain, Go Away!"

"Rain, Rain, Go Away!" That's what our women are singing this morning. Here's a reminder to all our ladies to meet at DayCrest Flower Farm Monday night at 7 PM. DayCrest is tracking the weather and will inform us no later than mid-afternoon "weather or not" the event needs to be rescheduled. If so, the event will take place Tuesday evening. Tandy Flynn will notify all ladies signed up if Monday is a rainout. If you don't hear from Tandy, assume everything's a go for Monday! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Tandy at (859) 983-6723.

New Outreach Team Forming at LHF

Sunday morning, Pastor Chris met with a team to discuss opportunities and options for outreach within our local community. Please be praying for wisdom for this team as they are in the organizational phases. If you are interested in being part of this new endeavor, please reach out to Pastor Chris at chrisrieber@lhfellowship.com.
