LHF This Week: Mar. 16-22, 2026

Hello, Mid-March!

As we move further into March, we’re grateful for the ways God continues to work in and through our church family. Whether through worship, prayer, serving our neighbors, or simply gathering together each week, the Lord is faithfully building His people.

In this week’s edition, you’ll find a Sunday Worship recap, a look back at our Grace Drive outreach, reminders about upcoming events, this week’s Bible reading plan, and our updated prayer list. Let’s take a look at what’s happening around Living Hope Fellowship.

Sunday Worship Recap

We gathered again this Sunday to worship the Lord and continue our study through the book of Colossians.

Pastor Derek preached a message titled “Is He Worthy? Christ’s Supremacy and Our Sacrifice” from Colossians 1:24–2:3.

In this passage, we see the Apostle Paul describing both the suffering and the joy that come with faithfully serving Christ and sharing the gospel. The message reminded us that when we truly understand the supremacy of Christ, our response is a life of sacrificial devotion to Him.

Paul’s example shows that following Jesus often involves perseverance, sacrifice, and a willingness to serve others so that they may come to know the truth of the gospel. Yet the motivation behind that sacrifice is clear: Jesus is worthy.

As believers, our lives are meant to reflect the value we place on Christ. When we see Him rightly, we gladly give our time, our energy, and our lives in service to Him and to others.

It was a powerful reminder that the gospel is not only something we believe—it is something we live for.

If you missed the sermon, you can listen or watch anytime on our website, podcast platform, or YouTube channel.

Loving on Grace Drive 🍪

This past Sunday, our church had the opportunity to bless our neighbors through our Loving on Grace Drive outreach.

A big thank you to everyone who baked cookies—we had plenty to give out! Thank you also to our delivery teams who helped bring those treats and kind conversations to the homes along Grace Drive.

Please join us in praying that the Lord will use this simple act of kindness as a first step toward ministering well to our community and building meaningful relationships with our neighbors.

We’ll be sharing a few photos from the outreach so you can see how the day went!

Looking Ahead

As we continue through this season together, may we keep Christ at the center of everything we do. The message from this Sunday reminds us that when we truly understand who Jesus is, the question becomes clear: Is He worthy of our lives?

Scripture reminds us again and again that the answer is yes.

We’re grateful for the many opportunities God gives us to worship, serve, and grow together as a church family. We look forward to seeing you throughout the week and—Lord willing—again this Sunday for worship.

Until then, may the Lord bless you, strengthen you, and fill your home with His peace.
