Hello, Church Family!

As we move further into this Easter season, we’re reminded of God’s faithfulness and the hope we have in Christ. This is such a meaningful time to reflect on the gospel and prepare our hearts for what we celebrate on Easter Sunday.

In this week’s edition, you’ll find a Sunday Worship recap, upcoming events, our continued Bible reading plan, and this week’s prayer list.

Sunday Worship Recap

We gathered together this Sunday for a special time of worship, reflection, and communion.

This week, we heard from Pastor Chris and Don Flynn as they shared about their recent mission trip to Paraguay. It was an encouraging time hearing how God is moving, how the gospel is being shared, and the impact of faithful ministry beyond our local community.

Their testimonies reminded us of the importance of being a church that not only gathers but also goes—supporting and participating in the work God is doing around the world.

We also shared in communion together, remembering Christ’s sacrifice and reflecting on His love for us. It was a meaningful moment to pause and refocus on the gospel.

Upcoming Events

Wednesday, April 1 – 6:30 PM: Girls 2 Women Girls 2 Women will be packing Blessing Bags and will hear a special testimony from Rita Bugg. Of course, there's gonna be some great food too. Mom's be on the lookout in the Band App for a link to signups.

NOTE: Boys 2 Men will not meet Wednesday. They will resume in May.

Friday, April 3 – 6:30 PM: Good Friday Service

Join us for a special service of remembrance and contemplation as we mark the sacrifice of Christ, making forgiveness available to us, looking forward to the hope of the resurrection.

Saturday, April 4 – 6:00 PM: Youth Night of Worship Emmanuel Baptist Church of Somerset, Led by Jamal and Britt (Bus available if needed)

Sunday, April 5: Easter Sunday

Celebrate the culmination of the greatest story ever told. We will have Bible Studies & Sunday School at normal time, and then come together at 10:15am for a worship service clebrating our Risen Savior. Invite a friend to come with you.

April 19 – 6:00 PM: Youth Theater Performance

Doors open at 6:00 PM

Concessions, snacks, desserts, and drinks available

$5 at the door (proceeds go toward summer camp at LLBC)
