LHF THIS WEEK: March 23-30, 2025

This past Sunday, we had a wonderful time of worship together as Pastor Derek began teaching from Luke 8:1-21. He reminded us that it’s not enough to simply hear or know the words of Jesus—we’re called to let His words take root in our hearts, so that we can grow in both faith and obedience.

We also had an incredible turnout at Saturday’s women’s event, “The Joy of Journaling.” It was a special time of learning how to deepen our Bible study by applying creativity to better understand and hold onto Scripture. A huge thank you to Brittany Rayan and Tandy Flynn for their vision and effort in making the event happen!

As you go through the week, please be in prayer for Jose and Heather Camara as they prepare to leave Friday to make their move to Ft. Worth, Texas. Pray for safe travels and for a smooth transition as they get settled into their new home. We also encourage you to continue lifting up Mike Whisman during his ongoing cancer treatments, and Archie Falin as he recovers from his recent injury.

❤️ SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

José & Heather Camara are in need of some folks who might be able to help them in loading up the moving truck this week. They are scheduled to have the truck at 10am Wednesday and will be packing up from then until Friday. If you are able to help them bear a load, it would be greatly appreciated.
