Welcome to June!
We just wrapped up May and are enjoying the very first moments of June this week! Summer is officially knocking on the door, and the kids are only a couple of days away from being out of school for the summer break. We had a truly wonderful worship service this past Sunday, and we are looking forward to a full week of gatherings, events, and Bible studies.
In this issue, you will find our weekly prayer list, our Bible reading calendar, and a special prayer calendar for members of our church family who are currently on a mission trip in Brazil. Let’s keep them close in our prayers as they serve!
Sunday Recap: Partnering in the Gospel
This past Sunday, we had the privilege of welcoming the Corpuz family all the way from the Philippines as our special guests. Ian, Jen, and their daughter, Jeanna, are in the States for the next couple of months for Ian’s sister’s wedding, as well as a time of deputation—raising support and making partnership connections.
Ian shared how God called him to plant a church in San Thomas, La Union, Philippines, back in 2022. Since then, they have seen incredible growth, and they have recently secured property to build a new church building and expand the ministry! Jen and Jeanna both ministered through music during our service, and Ian preached a powerful message entitled "Holding The Ropes of Missions" from Acts 9:23-25, reminding us that each of us has a part in the Great Commission.

Thank You, Church, for Your Generosity!
The past couple of weeks have been absolutely filled with generosity here at LHF.
Blessing Sunday: Two weeks ago was our annual Blessing Sunday offering, where you raised over $35,000.00 for parking lot repairs and upcoming mission projects! We are still amazed at how God continues to move.
Missionary Love Offering: This past Sunday, the giving continued as we welcomed the Corpuz family. The love offering taken up brought in $975.00, which we were able to bless Ian and Jen with directly for use in their ministry!
God is good, and His goodness is so clearly seen when His children give abundantly. Thank you for your faithful stewardship!

Tuesday, June 2 @ 6:30 PM – Women's Bible Study
Location: At the church (Front Foyer classroom)
Focus: Studying the book of Ruth.
Wednesday, June 3 @ 6:30 PM – Mentorship Ministry Night
Boys 2 Men: Meeting outside.
Girls 2 Women: Meeting in the Sanctuary for special guest Pritti Bansod, sharing about her ministry in India.
Thursday, June 4 (All Day) – UP: 24 Hours of Unceasing Prayer
Join us in spending the day praying for our city and the gospel witness in our community.
Friday, June 5 @ 7:00 AM – Men's Bible Study
Location: Panera Bread (Brannon Crossing)
Focus: Studying the book of Acts over breakfast.
Saturday, June 6 @ 9:00 AM – Youth Day of Adventure
Location: Cave City, KY
Logistics: The church van will leave from Jamal & Brittany Rayan’s house. Please eat breakfast before you arrive and pack a lunch!
Youth Camp is Not Far Away!
If your teen is going to youth camp this year, please get your forms turned in to Jamal & Brittany Rayan ASAP. Each camper must provide these forms in order to be admitted to camp. Don't delay!

Wilma Chaney: Recovering from knee surgery.
Archie Falin: Pray for continued health and strength.
Joannie Zarth: Praying for comfort, healing, and strength in her battle with cancer.
Koos Basson (Missionary to S. Africa): Pray for a smooth and full recovery following surgery.
Pastor Chris & Connie: Pray for safety, refreshment, and sweet family time as they travel with Connie's parents in Switzerland.
S. Africa Mission Team: Pray for final preparations as they get ready to leave in just a couple of weeks.
