It's Monday again, and we hope you had a wonderful and restful week! We're basking in the afterglow of a powerful Sunday and a fun-filled weekend, and we're looking forward with excitement to the fellowship and growth that this new week holds. Let's dive into all that's happening!
Youth Got Back to Nature
This past Saturday, our youth loaded up and headed south to Cumberland Falls for a day of hiking and adventure. It sounds like everyone had a great time enjoying the beautiful scenery and made it safely back from the trails. It's always a blessing to see our young people connecting with each other and with nature!
Sunday Review
We had a truly wonderful time in church yesterday. It was a joy to see a nearly packed house with several guests joining us for the first time or the first time in a while—we love having new faces! Pastor Derek stepped away from his series in the book of Luke as we looked to the book of Proverbs to see the Father's advice and desire for His children. We were reminded that above all things, God wants us to guard our hearts, because that is the center of everything we are. The best way for us to guard our hearts is to simply give them to Him. He is the one who created us and knows our heart inside and out! If you missed the service, you can catch up on Facebook, YouTube, or at our website.
Bible Study Opportunities This Week
Make sure to find a time to plug into community and the Word this week:
Women's Bible Study will be Tuesday at 6:30 PM at the church. They are currently studying "Don't Look Back," by Christine Caine. All are welcome!
Our Men's Bible Study will meet Friday at 7:00 AM at Panera Bread in Brannon Crossing as they continue to work their way through the Book of Acts.
It's Time to Party!!
The wait is almost over—Party with the Pastors is this Saturday! It's going to be a great day of worship, fun, crafts, and games for the whole family. There is still time to sign up for a day you don't want to miss. Come on out and spend some quality time with our leadership!
Vision Sunday & Farm Party Schedule Change
Pastor Derek mentioned Sunday that our Vision Sunday and Farm Party which was originally scheduled for October has now been moved to November 9th. Please take note of this important change in your calendars. It is a very special day on the LHF Calendar as we look forward to what God is doing and celebrate His faithfulness!

Youth To Meet At Pastor Chris' This Wednesday
Just a quick reminder to all of the youth who will be helping out on Saturday with Party with the Pastors. We will have a meeting at Pastor Chris' house starting at 6:30pm on Wednesday night to help set up for the event and go over roles and jobs for the day. Pastor Chris' address is 1101 Joe Cox Drive, Nicholasville, KY 40356.
