WELCOME TO LHF THIS WEEK
Sunday in Review...
Despite a weekend marked by rain and storms, the spirit of our community remained bright as we gathered for worship this past Sunday. Pastor Chris led us through a powerful exploration of Luke 9, unveiling the foundational principles that underpin the Kingdom of God. We delved into the significance of Service, Unity, Love over Hate, and Full Devotion, gaining invaluable insights into living a life rooted in these divine principles. If you missed the service, don't worry! You can catch the sermon on our website, Facebook, YouTube, or through our Apple and Spotify podcasts.
Looking Ahead...
We have a week packed with opportunities to connect and serve...
On Wednesday, all landscapers are invited to join us at the church at 5:00 PM as we prepare the flower beds for Saturday's mulching project.
Friday morning, our men will gather at Panera in Brannon Crossing at 7:00 AM for their weekly Bible Study. We're currently studying the book of Romans.
Saturday is a church-wide workday, beginning at 9:30 AM. We're calling on all hands to help with beautification and spring cleaning projects to get our church "spiffed up" for Easter. Please bring your gardening tools and cleaning supplies!
Also on Saturday, our Youth Group is hosting an Indoor Rock Climbing event. Keep an eye on the Youth Group Text this week for all the details.
Easter Schedule is Finalized
Following recent discussions, our Elders have finalized the Easter Sunday schedule. Due to the proximity of the holiday, the team felt it best that our services will maintain their regular Sunday timings: Sunday School at 9:15 AM and the Worship Service at 10:15 AM. While LHF will not host an Easter Sunrise Service this year, members are encouraged to participate in community events, such as the annual Sunrise Service at Lexington Cemetery, and to explore Good Friday services offered by other local churches. The team views this as an opportunity for broader fellowship within the body of Christ during the Easter season. Looking ahead, the leadership team plans to revisit the Easter schedule for next year, further addressing our special service options with the potential addition of a Good Friday service at LHF. We thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to a wonderful Easter Sunday at LHF!
