A Slightly Late Delivery… But Worth the Wait!
Happy (just-after) Valentine’s Week, LHF family! Yes, we know—this issue is arriving a little later than our usual Monday debut. But we trust that the delay has only heightened your anticipation! After all, isn’t anticipation part of love? And speaking of love, while the chocolates may be half-price and the roses slightly wilted, the love of Christ that unites us is as steady and strong as ever. It’s that love that gathers us back together after winter storms, keeps us connected through busy weeks, and binds us in true fellowship. We’re grateful to share another week of ministry, encouragement, and life together.
In this issue, you’ll find a wrap-up of Sunday’s worship, upcoming events, podcast links, and this week’s prayer list. Let’s jump in!
Worship Wrap-Up
This past Sunday was a sweet time together as we finally returned to our normal rhythm after missing two weeks of worship due to the winter storm. The ice that once covered everything is now clinging only to a few stubborn piles at the corners of parking lots—a fitting picture of how winter is losing its grip!
It was a joy to see just about everyone back after being hunkered down for so long. Pastor Chris preached from Colossians 3:12–17, reminding us of the importance of walking and living with the qualities of Christ. We focused on three key mindsets:
Walk with goodness
Walk with tolerance
Walk in wisdom
It was a timely reminder that our faith is not just something we believe—but something we live out daily in the way we treat one another.
If you missed the message, you can catch up on our website or YouTube channel.
We also heard from Brittany Rayan and Vivian Gill as they shared about their upcoming mission trip to Brazil and their ongoing efforts to raise funds. If you would like to help support their trip, please reach out to Brittany or Vivian directly. Most importantly, be in prayer as they seek funding and prepare their hearts for the work ahead this summer.

Have Our Texts Looked Different?
If you’ve noticed something a little unusual with our church texts lately—you’re not imagining it! Our regular texting service has been on the fritz the past couple of weeks. We’re hopeful it will be back online soon.
In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates coming from Pastor Derek’s number so you can stay up to date with what’s happening at LHF.
Weekly Bible Reading
We’re reading chronologically through the Bible in 2026. Here’s this week’s plan:
Monday: Leviticus 11–13
Tuesday: Leviticus 14–15
Wednesday: Leviticus 16–18
Thursday: Leviticus 19–21
Friday: Leviticus 22–23
Saturday: Leviticus 24–25
Sunday: Leviticus 26–27
Yes, it’s a week in Leviticus! As you read, look for God’s holiness, His care for His people, and the threads that ultimately point us forward to Christ.

We’re thankful for each of you and look forward to another sweet time of fellowship this Sunday. Until then, stay warm, stay encouraged, and keep walking in His love!
