Welcome back to another edition of LHF This Week! We apologize for missing an issue last week, but we're back and ready to share all the latest news from around Living Hope Fellowship. Scroll through to catch up on everything happening!
Sunday's Service Completely Powered By The Spirit!
This past Sunday, we experienced a truly unique worship service. Despite a complete power outage to the building, our spirits were far from dimmed! Kentucky Utilities reported an anomaly to their system around 2 AM, which led to the power going out completely during the Sunday School hour. But instead of canceling, we made the best of it and held an "unplugged" worship service.
Yes, it was warm with no AC, but the spirit of worship was incredibly strong. It was also very encouraging to welcome several guests who decided to stay for the service despite the unexpected circumstances. Pastor Derek preached from Luke 15, diving into the parables of the lost sheep and the lost coin. Through these powerful stories, Jesus revealed the profound heart of the Father toward the lost. It was a great reminder that as believers, we are called to express the heart and nature of Christ and the Father to a world that doesn't yet know Him. We'll be looking at the remainder of chapter 15 this coming Sunday.
Schedule Change
Kentucky Utilities has informed us that they'll need to do some extensive work around the church property to fix the outage, which will take a few days. Because of this:
Our Women's Bible Study, originally scheduled for this Tuesday, will be postponed to next Tuesday.
Our Men's Bible Study will still take place as scheduled this coming Friday at 7 AM at Panera in Brannon Crossing.
Camp Update
We're getting closer to Youth Camp! If your teen is planning to attend camp this year, please reach out to Jamal Rayan with any questions regarding registration and paperwork. So far, it looks like 26 teens are planning to attend from LHF! This is the biggest group we've ever taken, and we're so excited!

No Facebook, Podcast or YouTube This Week
With the power outage on Sunday, we were unfortunately not able to livestream our service or record for our podcast or YouTube channels. We pray to be back to normal operations this coming Sunday.
That's it for this update. Have a great week and we'll see you soon. God bless.
