Sunday in Review

Despite the rainy weekend, we had a wonderful day of worship on Sunday. Pastor Derek preached from Luke 11:1–13, where Jesus teaches us about the true nature and purpose of prayer. We were reminded that prayer is less about getting things from God and more about being transformed to reflect Christ. It’s about aligning our hearts with God’s will and participating in His kingdom work.

Coming Up This Week

  • Girls 2 Women Ministry Our monthly gathering is this Wednesday at 6:30 PM.


  • Boys 2 Men Campout The boys will meet this Friday (instead of Wednesday) for a special campout at the Majors' Farm, starting around 5:30 PM. For more info, contact Don Flynn at (859) 983-6721.


  • Men’s Bible Study Join us as usual on Thursday at 7:00 AM at Panera Bread in Brannon Crossing. We’re having some great discussions through the book of Romans—all guys are welcome!



Looking Ahead: Blessing Sunday – May 18

Mark your calendars for Blessing Sunday, a special time to celebrate God’s goodness as a church family.

  • We’ll receive a special offering with a goal of $14,000, which will bless our missionaries with a bonus and help cover some church maintenance needs.

  • After the service, we’ll enjoy a cookout-style lunch with hamburgers and hot dogs.Please bring a side dish or dessert and your lawn chairs. Tables and games will be available as well—plan to stick around and enjoy the fellowship!
