We are moving quickly through the month of November, and with the days flying by, it’s a great time to pause and catch up on what’s been happening at LHF. This issue of LHF This Week brings you highlights from the past week, a look ahead at upcoming events, our prayer list, and much more. Whether you missed a service or want to stay connected with the community, this update has something for everyone.
Sunday Wrap-up: A Day Full of Worship and Fellowship
This past Sunday was a wonderful day filled with worship and fellowship. Our service took on a special tone as Pastor Chris led us through what felt like a little "Easter in November." He focused on the resurrection account found in Luke chapters 23 and 24. Through the stories of Joseph of Arimathea, Nicodemus, and the women who visited the tomb, we explored how a relationship with the resurrected Christ transforms our lives.
The message challenged us to live our faith openly and boldly. If you missed the service, you can catch the full message on our website, Facebook page, or YouTube channel. It’s a powerful reminder that faith is not just something we keep inside but something we express in our daily lives.
Later that evening, we had a rare Sunday gathering to celebrate Thanksgiving together with a potluck dinner. The church was transformed into a banquet hall, filled with the delicious aromas of turkey and all the traditional fixings. It was a joyful time of sharing food, gratitude, and praise. A big thank you goes to our events team for organizing such a memorable evening and to all the chefs who contributed their culinary talents.
Building and Grounds Team Enhances Security
Our Building and Grounds team has been hard at work improving the safety of our church property. Recently, they installed new security cameras around the premises. This upgrade will help ensure a safer environment for everyone attending services and events. We appreciate their dedication to keeping our community secure and comfortable.
Welcoming Baby Liam to the Coffey Family
We are thrilled to share joyful news from the Coffey family. Mark and Jennifer welcomed their newest addition, baby Liam, this past Saturday. Liam arrived weighing 4 pounds 7 ounces and measuring 17 inches long. Both Jennifer and Liam are doing well, and we praise the Lord for His faithfulness throughout the delivery.
Liam will remain in the NICU for a while as he gains strength and weight. Please keep Liam and the entire Coffey family in your prayers during this time. Your support means a lot to them as they navigate these early days.

Sunday, After Church -- Christmas Decoration
Calling all decorators and designers! It's that time of year again when we beautify the church building for Christmas. We're looking for several people who would plan to stick around after the service this coming Sunday (Nov. 23) to help decorate for the season. Many hands make for light work!
This Week's Prayer List
